Camp Twin Creeks is located in Marlinton, West Virgina and was bought from the original owners in 2001. It is a co-ed camp for essentially 2 week campers with some campers staying for 4 weeks. The Directors, Iain and Amy McClement, have been at camp since 2001 and Richard Glover is the Assistant Director. IENA have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Camp since its opening and are proud to send staff to enjoy its amazing location in West Virginia. Camp has grown from strength to strength in the last 17 years of existence and IENA is proud to place many staff there. Below are some questions I asked Richard.
Please tell us a little about your camp:
Traditional 2 Week Co-Ed residential camp located in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. We hire approximately 110 seasonal staff each year with 40% of these coming from international agencies.
What makes International staff important to your camp?
They add unique talent and diversity to our staff population. They typically are more bought into the idea of working at a camp over US counterparts and appreciative of the experience we provide.
Are there any specific skills you generally hire international staff for?
All positions 😉 Specifically, boat drivers, lifeguards, horses and land sports
