On the 24th and 25th of October, members of the IENA team traveled to Washington DC to attend the Annual Conference of the Alliance for International Exchange. The Alliance hosted various sessions important to the Exchange Community, and covered topics such as the J-1 Camp Counselor Visa, the J-1 Summer Work and Travel Program, Emotional First Aid, Advocacy 101, and much more. The Alliance is a wonderful source of support and an important resource for visa sponsors such as IENA. The Alliance and their partners continue to advocate for Cultural Exchange Programs on the Hill, and it is very much appreciated! Thank you to the Alliance for all that you do, and IENA cannot wait to see you again for Advocacy Day!
