Last week, Gail and I from the IENA Camp Team, attended the ACA’s Southeastern Fall Conference in Savannah, Georgia.
At the conference, Gail and I were able to meet some lovely camps and speak to many ACA members- it was great to meet you all!
As we had some down time, Gail and I explored a bit of Savannah, which was amazing. It is a beautiful city with amazing architecture, beautiful trees and foliage, and a spooky history!
As a former Girl Scout, I was incredibly excited to visit Savannah and go to the birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts. Gail and I really enjoyed our tour of the Juliette Gordon Low house, and learned many interesting facts about Juliette’s life, and how she came to found the Girl Scouting organization.
Overall, Gail and I had a great trip in Savannah. Thank you to the ACA Southeastern Conference for having IENA! 🙂
